According to Yonhap News,

Chungcheongbuk-do (Province) will hold one-to-one seminars for 11 public institutions to be relocated to the Jincheon-Eumsong INNO-CITY to support their early settlement here.

The province is constructing the 6.92 million square meter-INNO-CITY where 11 public institutions including Korea Gas Safety Corporation, Korea Agency for Technology and Standards, National IT Industry Promotion Agency and Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation will be located.

The seminar is designed to resolve grievances of 2,900 public officials to move to INNO-CITY concerning the residential environment.

In addition, the province also plans to attract research institutes and companies related to the public institutions.

According to the report titled “Utilization of Public Institutions to Move to the INNO-CITY and Establishment of Industrial Cluster,” released by Chungcheongbuk-do Development Research Institute in last October, 814 institutes and companies were reported to have won the bid for 1,964 projects, led by the public institutions to be located to the INNO-CITY.

The province expects some of the institutes or companies could move to the INNO-CITY to participate in the public institutions-led projects.
