The Cosmetics & Beauty Expo, Osong Korea will evolve into a “smart expo” by ensuring visitors an easy access to the information on the exhibition via their smartphones.

The organizing committee for the expo introduced the Near Field Communication (NFC), a short-range wireless technology, which enables smartphone users to get an access to the real-time information on the expo and reservation by automatically connecting them with the webpage of the expo.

The users can also get discount coupons for displayed products with the information in four languages including Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese.

“With the introduction of the NFC system, domestic and overseas visitors can enjoy various services,” said Go Se-ung, secretary general of the organizing committee.

The Cosmetics & Beauty Expo, Osong Korea is scheduled to be held at Osong, Chungcheongbuk-do (Province) from May 3 to 26 under the theme of “Healthy Life, Beautiful Life.”
