Governor of North Chungcheong Province Lee Si-jong will visit the United States to seek investors for development of KTX Osong station area and a free economic zone in the province.

North Chungcheong Province announced Thursday that Governor Lee will visit Connecticut from June 9 to discuss measures of establishing foreign education facilities in the free economic zone.

Governor will also visit a bio cluster in Connecticut to encourage the U.S. biotechnology companies to invest in the Osong BioVally and hold an investment session to promote participation in development projects of the KTX Osong station area.

Governor Lee is planned to return to Korea after signing a memorandum of understanding with two U.S. companies which are interested in investing.
