The Chungbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (CBFEZA) will hold an information session for major Korean construction companies Friday.

About 70 construction companies will be participating in the information session which will be held for the first time since the authority’s recruit notice for Ecopolis developer last August.

The CBFEZA will promote cheap industrial sites in Chungju and convenient transportation to show that Chungju is the optimal industrial base and attract companies.

Investment promotion activities by industry will also be held with the session. On-site sessions are planned for next month.

The CBFEZA is looking for Ecopolis developer by October 24.

Suggestions for changes of project details within the basic framework for the free economic zones are also allowed.

The CBFEZA will select those to negotiate first this November through discussion at an evaluation committee and designate and announce the project developer December.
