Taean County and Seosan City will hold a joint promotional event for their agricultural and specialty product in the United States from Saturday to October 31.

According to the county yesterday, the event will be held in seven regional markets in New York and Los Angeles. About 20 agricultural and specialty products of bay salt, blue crab, black garlic, salted fish, Korean traditional sweets and more will be displayed.

The county and city will participate in the New York Korean Festival which will be held at the Randalls Island Park from October 12 to October 13.

A special promotional event will also be held at the Hanyang Super Market from October 12 to October 31, in addition to five other markets in Los Angeles.

A Taean official noted that the event aims to promote excellence of agricultural and specialty products from Taean and Seosan, adding that it will help to enhance U.S. consumers’ confidence in Korean products and penetrate new export markets.
