(CHEONGJU = Newsis) 10 government authorities and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) decided to support “Osong International Bio Industry Exposition 2014”.

Chungcheongbuk-do announced on February 13 that a total of six government ministries including the Ministry of Security and Public Administration, Ministry of Health & Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Ministry of Food and Drug Safety became the official sponsors for the expo.

Four other SOEs including Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Korea Research Institute Bioscience and Biotechnology, Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Korea Tourism Organization also decided to officially support the event.

The expo is jointly hosted by Chungbuk, the MOTIE, Cheongju-si and Cheongwon-gun.

Osong International Bio Industry Exposition 2014 will be held between September 26 and October 12 at Osong Biovalley, under the theme of “The Secret of Life, Beautiful Future”.
