Chungju Designated as “Best City for Business” for 2 Consecutive Years
(CHUNGJU = Newsis) The city of Chungju in the North Chungcheong Province was designated as the best city for business for two consecutive years.
The designation was announced by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy and Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Chungju received high scores for its foreign investment promotion activities, one-stop administrative services and more.
Chungju also boasted its outstanding business conditions such as affordable land prices, easy access to the Seoul metropolitan area, abundant industrial water and excellent labor-management relationship over the last nine years.
The city plans to complete the construction of the Chungju Megapolis and Chungju 5th Industrial Complex by 2016, and improved its business conditions by expanding its infrastructure and designating the Chungju Ecopolis.
