(CHUNGJU=NEWSIS) Chungju is striving to attract Chinese investment since the city has built a friendly relationship with Liaoning and Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County last August.

Chungju City and Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County have agreed to not only increase understanding of bilateral history and culture but also exchange sectors of their common interest including economy, education, culture, tourism, arts and sports.

The City reached agreement for cultural and tourism exchanges with Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County.

An official from Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County will visit Chungju this year and discuss in detail the cooperative project in the agricultural industry.

"we will proactively cooperate with Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County to develop a cooperative project to contribute to the regional economy," said a Chungju official.
