(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) Administrator Chung Yangho of Public Procurement Service signed a memorandum of understanding with CEO Luigi Marroni of Consip to promote cooperation in public procurement between Korea and Italy on May 25 in Rome, Italy.
Consip agreed to attend the Korea-Italy business forum to be held in Milan in December to introduce the Italian procurement market to the Korean counterpart and support Korean companies enter the Italian procurement market.
Chung also participated in the 5th World Procurement congress held in Milan on May 24 for two days.
The congress, initiated by Korea, is a multinational meeting between five countries including Korea, the United States, Canada, Itay and Chile to discuss issues related to procurement.
