(DAEJEON=NEWSIS) The Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise (DIME) announced it has attracted the 'International Union of Materials Research Societies-International Conference on Electronics Materials 2018' (IUMRS-ICEM 2018).

The DIME extensively promoted Daejeon's capability in the electronics material sector during the general assembly and board meeting of the IUMRS-ICEM held in Singapore during July 4-8 and selected as a host city of 2018 event.

The IUMRS-ICEM is a biannual event organized by the IUMRS which attracts around 2,000 industrial leaders and academic experts worldwide.

The city has succeeded in winning a series of international conventions in the field of science and aims to further improve its infrastructure to attract more events.
