DAEJEON < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) Daejeon Metropolitan City and the Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise announced that 1,000 Chinese medical tourists will come to the city until the end of August starting from the first group of 160 tourists visiting from July 22 to 24.

Visitors coming this time were attracted through an advertisement aired on a Chinese local television station which partnered with Daejeon city. Many of tourists are accompanied with their children to spend summer vacation.

Chinese visitors participated in a cultural exchange event with Korean students at a local elementary school and looked around the city.

They are scheduled to get physical checkups in four hospitals and specialized medical institutions before visiting science centers and tourists attractions in Daejeon.
