DAEJEON < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) Daejeon City is purchasing former official residence town owned by South Chungcheong Province in stages to turn it into a culture and arts village.

The city announced that it bought former residence of provincial governor and 5 plots in official residence building complex for KRW 3.7 billion.

The city plans to purchase the rest of the residence complex by 2019 and create a culture and arts village.

After restoration work, the town will be open to the public and used as a space for local residents and artists.

Daejeon plans to finish the project until 2020 by injecting KRW 12 billion.
