According to Yonhap News,

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) South Korea's National Science Musuem and Germany's Deutsches Museum have formed a pact to cooperate in science technology, personnel exchanges and exhibitions, and to promote understanding of the two countries' science technology, the South Korean museum said Sunday.

The memorandum of understanding was made Thursday when Yang Sung-kwang, chief of the National Science Museum, met Wolfgang Heckl, head of the Deutsches Museum, at the German museum in Munich.

Under the pact, the two museums will cooperate in the sharing of information on science technology, holding history of science exhibitions, and seminars on science topics.

It also calls for the two museums to launch a joint committee to carry out their cooperative projects, send experts to each other's establishment as part of personnel exchange programs and jointly take part in an international symposium of science museums held at the South Korean museum.

Located in the city of Daejeon, central South Korea, the main science museum of South Korea collects, preserves, researches and exhibits science-related material, as well as hosts education programs related to science, industrial technology, history of science and natural science.
