According to Yonhap News,

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) The project to build a comprehensive administrative town in Yeonchuk-dong, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon City, is set to launched at full scale.

On April 6, at the Daedok District Hall, the local government and Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) signed a framework agreement on opening a new administrative town in Yeonchuk.

As a key focus of the district, the project aims to form an administrative link between the northern Sintan and southern Songchon areas, revitalizing the local economy and enabling the balanced development of individual regions, and thereby establishing a foundation for new growth.

Construction is scheduled to end by 2021.
