6th Daejeon Robot Fusion Festival to Kick Off at DCC

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) Hosted by the city of Daejeon, the 6th Daejeon Robot Fusion Festival is set to take place from August 4 to 6 at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC).

The event, co-organized by the Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise (DIME) and the Daejeon Techno Park, will be held under the theme "Creativity, Challenges and Realization of an Industry 4.0 Economy."

A total of 2,089 teams composed of some 3,920 individuals will compete in one international competition and five domestic tournaments, led by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Mokwon University, Chungnam National University, the International Youth Robot Confederation (IYRC), the Korean Robotic Sports Association, and Saeon.

In addition to the tournaments, displays and events, the festival will offer small and medium robot companies opportunities to promote their products and provide consulting on how to achieve further growth.
