On April 16, Daejeon Technopark announced it will select 15 startups that will lead the mutual growth of local companies.

The selection process will last from April 30 to May 2. The selected companies will receive an appointment letter and various forms of support over the next 3 to 5 years.

In the first year, the companies will receive up to KRW 50 million in consultation fees, get to participate in the technology innovation and export fairs as well as other benefits.

Also, each company will be assigned a project manager (PM), and the most outstanding start up will receive KRW 800 million over 2 years for R&D.

Eligible companies are those with headquarters or main business facilities located in Daejeon, have 10 or more regular employees with 70% or more full-time workers, as wells as sales of more than KRW 5 billion and less than KRW 40 billion.
