(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) On December 23, Daejeon City said the Korean Amateur Radio League will work together with the city in promoting the "Visit Daejeon Year of 2019."

The organization decided to put the title of "Visit Daejeon Year of 2019" and 12 major sightseeing spots of Daejeon on its New Year's newsletter.

It will also print the logo of "Visit Daejeon Year of 2019" and Daejeon's major sightseeing spots on QSL cards it issue after a successful radio communication with the League's radio station.

The League will use a special call sign of 'D70DJ' throught next year to commemorate the Visit Daejeon Year, and will also promote major sightseeing spots of Daejeon when its members radio-communicate within and outside the country.

According to the City, participation of more than 30,000 members of the Korean Amateur Radio League will greatly help the city in achieving the goal of attracting 5 million tourists.
