KCCI and five universities signed an MOU to develop tech talent

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Hannam University, Pai Chai University, Mok Won University, Baekseok University, and Joongbu University signed an MOU on February 20 at Hannam University to foster talent who will be leading the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies and facilitate the employment.

The KCCI and universities pledged to develop and operate advanced major courses to support students' employment and give priority to the students of signatory universities.

They agreed to establish a system for career management and job matching, while sharing educational facilities and devices.

A KCCI official said "we plan to foster 300 personnel specialized in the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies, provide 11 courses including smart factory, drone, big data, and AI to the universities," adding that "students participating in the course will be given a chance to a job at relevant organizations".
