Global Startup Festival Daejeon 2019, participated by foreign investors and domestic startups, was opened at Daejeon Convention Center on May 21.

The participants in the Festival, held for three days (May 21-23), would include: officials of Slsuh-Finland's famous startup event; a founder of HAX, an accelerator working mostly in the U.S. and China; CEO and investors of Junction, the world's largest hackathon community; and Asia Pacific Managing Director of WeWork, a global co-working spaces company. They are planned to deliver keynote addresses and engage in investment consultation.

In addition, startups will have "Investment PT audition" for investors from home and abroad, and receive support in investment attraction, technology financing, patent, legal affairs through one-on-one one-stop startup consultation on site.

Other various programs available are: networking event for startups; talk concert on the subject of overseas expansion of startups; study on startup's entry into the Indian market; and meeting with successful CEOs.

Daejeon mayor said, "For startups with idea and passion, the Festival will be a chance for innovative growth."
