(SEOUL=Yonhap News) On June 5, Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMS) announced that it signed MOU with Daejeon city and 7 public and semi-public institutes and to support and cooperate "2019 Daejeon Innovation Forum"

"2019 Daejeon Innovation Forum" is a cooperative project for innovation in regional society, in which citizens identify regional problems, and government, local government, and public institutes solve those problems.

SEMS plans to contribute to establishment of a platform that can solve social problems, more than fragmented CSR activities.

It will also take on practical roles by participating in a cooperative project team built to solve identified regional problems.

SMES said, "We are pleased to contribute to establishing an ecosystem of cooperation," adding that "We will actively support that this project can be developed into an innovative model to resolve regional problems through cooperation between civic society and public institutes."
