SMEs in Daejeon are set to accelerate entry into Vietnam's market.
On June 7, Daejeon city announced that 16 regional companies had 94 cases of export consultation, achieving USD 1.73 million contracts (KRW 2.05 billion) on business partnering held at Vietnam Hanoi Grand Plaza Hotel on June 3.
They also achieved USD 1.983 million (KRW 2.35 billion) contracts at Chungcheong SMEs Exhibition at Ho Chi Minh on May 30-June 2.
Besides these official events, a cosmetics company signed a contract of USD 1.56 million (KRW 1.85 billion) with a local buyer.
A city official said, "As Vietnam's economy is growing fast, we will push for various policies to support regional companies enter Vietnam market."
