(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) The 8th Robot Fusion Festival is held at Daejeon Convention Center on August 2-4.
10 competitions will be held during the festival, including "International Youth Robot Competition", "Intelligent Creative Robot Competition", among others, where 4,230 participants of 2,945 teams will compete against each other.
The International Youth Robot Competition will be participated by players from 30 countries around the world.
On the opening day, a seminar titled "Trends of new industry convergence and strategy for success" will be held from 3 p.m.
11 companies from Daejeon will set up booths providing a chance to experience robot, drone, and 3D printing.
The festival is hosted by Daejeon City, and organized by Daejeon Marketing Corporation and Daejeon TechnoPark to promote robot culture.
