Daejeon, Oct 11(newsis) -- The city of Daejeon had an award ceremony at Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) on Oct 11 to give a prize to 25 best businesses, whose annual sales figures have exceeded KRW 10 billion, making a huge contribution to the local economy.

The Korea Tobacco and Ginseng Corporation (KT & G) ranked at the top, and four others became the prize- winning businesses, who broke the sales revenue of KRW 100 billion.

Nominees of the best businesses are as follows: Fine Construction Co., Ltd, Osung- Steel, Jinol Construction Co., Ltd, Taewon Consruction, YoungIn Industry, RF semi, Withtec, Songching, Handok Clean Tech, Vitabio, Softitech Co., Ltd, NCDtech, AbleIT, Daedong Solar Co., Ltd, Nanoprotech, KSBJ, Dongyang Co., Ltd, HIT etc.

11 workers who played the biggest role in sales / productivity growth and 29 employees working for promising SMEs have become the prize-winner at the ceremony. These awardees can be provided with loan interest rate cut by two to three percent, part of financial reward for the winners in addition to other incentives.

Meanwhile, the city has long held this achievement award ceremony since 2007, picking 224 enterprises along with 648 SMEs.
