The city of Daejeon announced on Feb. 26 that the local authorities will run a job-creation project, particularly helping young engineers meet with mentors, who’ve long built up expertise and technical knowhow. By forming each team, which consists of a retired, highly skilled engineer and three young mentees, who’ve studied science or engineering, the ministry steps into the course of grievance resolution and technology development to help SMEs and local startups.
