Daejeon city to support business branding and packaging for local startups
The city of Daejeon announced on Mar. 23 that the city government steps in business brand packaging, part of marketing support process forming brand image to help early stage local startups.
The city said the project aims to help entrepreneurs running business less than seven years build up brand identity and enhance business value to be competent in the market.
Local authorities cover several steps of business marketing: brand imaging, character designing, packaging etc. Anyone who wants prototype or character designing can apply for the service till Apr. 9.
The selectees (20 or more) are given as much as KRW 10 million per each, covering 20 percent of the total cost. But those who have already benefitted from the service a year earlier are restricted from reapplying.
