Daejoen city to run ‘Young Creators Program’

Daejeon Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency (DICIPA) announced on Feb 15 the launch of what’s called ‘Young Creators Program’, a sponsorship which aims to provide assistance for local young artists to develop content creating skills so as to help them financially and economically independent in the communities.

A small sized digital comic publisher, game or cartoon content creator which hires young talents under the age of 39 can be provided with cash incentives, up to KRW1.8 million in value, and HR training costs in the form of hiring subsidies.

Anyone interested in the program can submit the application forms until Feb 26 to DICIPA. The candidates must show valid proof of business address, headquartered in Daejeon city and employment insurance.

A city official said “We’ll spare no effort to encourage local young talents to grow into the most influential social media creators.”
