Daejeon city to launch a neighborhood rehab project to embrace vibrant new office spaces

A city-led neighborhood rehab project, switching abandoned and unoccupied commercial buildings into vibrant new office spaces, especially for startups, is currently well underway. Darjeon city said on Feb 19 that the authorities have completed the contract singing process with the very first partner, Human Face Team out of eight other candidates, joining the program.

The team will convert and redesign a vacant old commercial properties across Eunhaeng-dong, Jung-gu to an urban community gardens and health facilities where citizens can spend their leisure time and sports activities for relaxation.

Once the places are repurposed by the end of April, the town will be open to the public in May. Two other properties are on the negotiation list.
