According to Yonhap News,

Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water)’s business support projects designed to help locally based companies, small or large, expand sales networks abroad have been picked out by the SMEs and Startup ministry on Apr 27. The two separate demo projects selected this time are reported to be a small hydropower generation in Japan and an intelligent leak-proof system to be tested in Vietnam.

Adopting WinWorld’s small hydropower solutions, K-water will install a generator controlling system available to better cope with water flow change and short head (a head: a reasonable height for the water to fall) in Japan. In Vietnam, a tech startup, Wiplat’s smart water-leak detector and Jain technology’s ultrasonic flow meter will be tested.

Forming a consortium which consists of four small and mid-sized businesses(Usol, Enertork, Suntech-Eng and Solve), K-water will join a smart water infrastructure development and management project to be proceeded in Vietnam.
