According to Yonhap News,

The city of Daejeon has started to provide shared office space free of charge to give buffer against the fallout from the lingering COVID-19 recession to locally based travel agencies.

According to the city officials on May 12, the authorities are planning to pick out 25 travel agencies following deliberation by the city committee and to rent workstations in Daejeon and Sejong Travel Agency Support Center for those looking for offices over the next six months. Term extension is available up to a year, and candidates will be provided with business consulting and coaching services to enhance management capabilities.

The top pick will be in order of those whose on-year sales have dropped tremendously and businesses out of the list of COVID-19 relief package.

Anyone interested in the service can visit or send email to Daejeon City Tourism Association. The shortlistees are allowed to move into the shared workspace next month.
