According to Yonhap News,

Daejeon City is to receive applications for "2021 promising SMEs" with excellent technologies by July 9.

SMEs with high growth potential (sales, exports, etc.), investing in technology development, and in possession of new technologies are eligible. .

The City is to select 50 companies in October, supporting in such ways as: preferential interest rate when applying for business stabilisation fund for five years; participation in exhibition and expo home and abroad; 3-year grace-period for tax investigation.

The City has been supporting 728 SMEs since 1998 to last year. Daejeon Startup Support Office ( ☎ 042-270-3692).
