Daejeon-si signed an investment MOU worth KRW 30 billion with 5 companies including defense industry companies and contact center on November 23.

Two defense companies (Microinfinity and Abiosys Technologies) that signed an investment MOU plan to invest KRW 27.2 billion in Ansan Advanced Defense Industrial Complex in Yuseong-gu to establish headquarters, factories, and research institutes.

The three contact centers will invest KRW 1.7 billion to build new offices and expand existing ones.

Daejeon-si expected that 463 new jobs would be created if the investment is executed as planned.

Microinfinity is a company specialized in the development of navigation sensors and navigation systems, and has expanded its business based on navigation guidance control technologies, used in aerospace, ships, and guided weapons.

Abiosys Technologies, which develops and produces aviation parts, is localizing key equipment of aircraft. As it expands its business into Korean-style mobile helicopters, small civilian helicopters, and Korean-style fighters.

The three contact centers plan to hire 235 agents by 2023 at the latest with opening new offices or expanding existing ones.
