Digital Land to be built in Daejeon O World....a theme park best at night

'Digital Land', a digital media art theme park, will be built in Daejeon O World, the largest theme park in Korea's central region.

Daejeon City Corporation (DCCO) held a groundbreaking ceremony for Digital Land at O-World on January 14.

Digital Land is a venue specialized for night. With the goal of opening on July 1, KRW 7 billion will be invested to build Digital Land on 48,000 square meters in Flower Land area in O World.

It will showcase media art and content utilizing cutting-edge digital media technology. Hologram shows of a new concept, realistic videos, music fountain water show, and interactive games will be available.

It will be consisted of 4 main zones including 'Night Guide', 'Hidden Giant', 'Treasure Keeper', and 'Forest Wizard', and 12 stages. The total length is about 1.5km.

Along with the 'Big Tree Observatory', which is being built to expand the tourism infrastructure of nearby Bomunsan, it is expected to contribute to revitalizing tourism of Bomunsan Mountain and the local economy by attracting visitors from outside as well as Daejeon
