Daejeon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation held the ‘2021 DJU Metaverse Industry-Academic Cooperation Festival’ on January 27.
It was co-hosted by Industry-University Cooperation Foundation, LINC+ Project Group, 4th Industrial Revolution Innovation Leading University Project Group, Smart Healthcare VR-Based Construction Project Group, and Dongseo Life Science Research Institute, and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, National Research Foundation of Korea, and Daejeon City.
It was prepared to share and spread the excellent achievements of industry-academic cooperation in 2021 built by the university-business-community (3-Way Living Lab platform) under mutual cooperation.
In addition, it also aims to ▲promote industry-academic-research cooperation model and educational course program friendly to industry-academic cooperation ▲discover an industry-academic cooperation model of network between universities-business-community by realizing a metaverse platform for super-connected industry-academic collaboration ▲and share the model of industry-academic cooperation development in digital transformation.
It will run until January 11, in the metaverse platform virtual space (http://dju-metaverse.co.kr) through the industry-academic exchange exhibition hall, the industry-academic cooperation achievement exhibition hall, and the win-win forest promotion hall for hyper-connected sharing collaboration.
In the ‘Excellence Achievement Exhibition Hall’, capstone design, field practice handwriting contest, start-up competition, industry-academic cooperation activities and awards are put up. In the 'Win-Win Forest Promotion Hall', promotional videos for Daejeon University, LINC+ project, and achievements of the 4th industrial revolution innovation leading university project are displayed along with promotional materials for family companies.
