Daejeon-si signed an MOU worth KRW 11.8 billion with two domestic SMEs and one contact center at City Hall on April 18.
Shinhwa, a manufacturer of Manufacture of Structural Metal Sheet Products and Metal Works Used on Building will invest KRW 6.5 billion to establish a new factory in Pyeongchon General Industrial Complex, Seo-gu, and CleverLogic, a company specialized in communication model technology based R&D, will invest KRW 5 billion by the end of 2024 to relocate its headquarters from Yuseong to Jangdae Urban High-tech Industrial Complex.
Top Loss Adjuster, which currently operates a contact center in Seo-gu, plans to add a 50-seat center in Jung-gu.
Daejeon expects that if the the investment of the three companies proceeds as planned, 95 new jobs will be created.
