According to Yonhap News,

Sejong-si announced on June 13 that it had selected a total of 5 companies, including 4 technological innovation types and 1 regional specialization type, in the '2022 Daejeon-Sejong Tourism Startup Contest', held together with the Daejeon Tourism Organization.

The selected technologically innovative companies are Nomad (recording through the village story archive), Nyangnyang Monsters (a service platform connecting local organizations with character writers), SkyViewers Solution (providing a sky view of tourist destinations using drones), and Today’s Story (the medial specialized in the region targeting tourists).

PAL Cultural Heritage Center (Alternative Reality Game (ARG) with the background of a modern history in Gwansa Village, Soje-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon) was selected as a regional-specialization type.

These companies would receive support for accelerating, education, public relations, sales channel exploration, occupancy space, commercialization funds, and customized consulting to advance their business models (BM).

An official from Sejong-si said, "we will continue to discover and groom tourism startups with creative ideas in Sejong and Daejeon, and develop them into representative tourism companies."
