According to Yonhap News,
Daejeon-si is to provide food and hygiene businesses struggling with energy crises with KRW 200,000 each.
Furthermore, city gas bill for small enterprises will be suspended annd the period of inceasing water and sewage fees will be postponed.
Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo outlined such emergency support measures at the municipal briefing on Feb. 21.
First and foremost, the city supports energy bills worth KRW 7.3 billion for about 36,000 food and hygiene businesses.
In the meantime, for 19,895 businesses with high proportion of city gas, such as restaurants, Daejeon will proceed with postponing the payment from February thorugh April by cooperating with CNCITY Energy.
Any small enterprises seeking to postpone the payment can apply by calling CNCITY Energy's call center (1666-0009) or online.
