On January 10, Daejeon-si announced that it opened its sole pavilion "Daejeon Hall" at Consumer Electronics Show 2024 (CES 2024), the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas. It is the first time that Daejeon-si opens its own sole pavilion.
"Daejeon Hall" at Eureka Park, which showcases innovative technologies of new companies (startups) has boothes for 20 companies and promotional space for "Daejeon, Science City of Korea".
In total, 42 Daejeon-based companies participated including 20 in Daejeon hall, 12 in KAIST hall, 4 in Hanbat University hall, and 6 individually participating companies in Central hall.
Of them, 10 companies participating in Daejeon hall were awarded "CES Innovation Awards."
