Daejeon-si signed an MOU on investment worth KRW 107.7 billion with 6 promising domestic companies on July 9.
Standard Testing & Engineering, Woori Technology, and INZI e-Solution will relocate and make new investment in the Dungok Industrial Complex in Yuseong-gu, while Dasung, a company specializing in automobile parts manufacturing, will make relocation investment in Pyeongchon Industrial Complex in Seo-gu.
Hanil Telecom, a security camera and video surveillance equipment manufacturer, and Hansco, a part manufacturer for defense equipment, will move into the Daejeon Industrial Complex in Daedeok-gu. Hansco also plans to make facility expansion investment in the Daedeok Industrial Complex.
With the relocation, the city expects 115 jobs to be created.
An official from Daejeon-si said, "We will provide administrative and financial support to help the companies execute investment as planned."
