GANGWON-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(GANGNEUNG=Yonhap News) Gangwon Province and Gangneung City signed investment agreements with Hanyoung Engineering, Semi LED and PharmaResearch Products on April 21 to help the companies relocate their headquarters to the Gangneung Science Industrial Complex.

The three companies will invest a total of KRW 43 billion in establishing new production lines at the complex, which will contribute to reviving the regional economy and creating around 180 new jobs.

Hanyoung Engineering will invest KRW 11.9 billion in relocating its headquarters to the province and hiring 70 new workers.

Semi LED will invest KRW 1.2 billion in establishing a separate corporation in Gangneung City and creating 50 new jobs.

PharmaResearch Products, which has already relocated its headquarters and plant to the complex in 2013, will invest KRW 30 billion in building research facilities and hiring 60 new workers.
