GANGWON-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(JEONGSEON=Yonhap News) Kangwon Land, a casino and resort hotel in Gangwon Province, is hosting a number of large-scale international convention events.

Incentive event of Herbalife Indonesia was held on December 7 at the resort hotel. Around 900 participants of the event enjoyed various programs including skiing and K-pop concert.

On December 10, a festival for expats in Asia will take place, which will be attended by foreigners living in Korea.

Earlier in February, an incentive event of a Thailand's business group was held at the casino hotel, participated in by around 1,500 people.

Kangwon Land explained it succeeded in hosting such events through active efforts to attract foreign tourists from Asia such as road shows in Southeast Asia in March and marketing campaigns for new global markets last month.

"Small and medium scale incentive events of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Indonesian companies will also be held", a representative of Kangwon Land said, adding that the resort hotel is receiving more foreign guests thanks to increasing number of international events.
