(HOENGSEONG=Newsis News) The County of Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon Province announced Feb. 7 that it will hold a discussion on how to foster a good business environment with 17 members of the Business Friendliness Task Force Team at the County Government Building on Feb. 8.

Researcher Park Gwang-yeol of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Regulatory Innovation Team will participate in tomorrow's discussion, and provide his analysis of Hoengseong's place on the 2016 national regulation map, and his advice on how to steer regulatory reforms to better foster a good business environment.

Last year, Hoengseong presented a set of guidelines on how to reach an agreement on the quality of treated waste water, and was thereby able to reduce the burden of companies at the local industrial complex.

For mid to large investment companies with 1000 or more employees and KRW 500 billion or over, the County revised its Ordinance and Rules for the Attract Businesses and Investment.

Hoenseong-gun was ranked the best region in Gangwon Province to do business in, accounting for some 16 companies, or 37% of all business from outside the province.
