According to Yonhap News,

(SOKCHO=Yonhap News) Despite the sharp drop in Chinese tourists due to the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, the 75,000-ton cruise ship Costa Victoria has entered Sokcho Port, Gangwon Province, on May 1, the first of 12 cruise ship entries set for this year.

It is Costa Victoria's second visit to Sokcho since last May.

The ship will board some 2,000 Korean tourists that day and set sail, stopping at Vladivostok, Russian and several ports in Japan before returning to Sokcho on May 6.

Meanwhile, the 57,000-ton cruise ship neoRomantica will arrive at the port 4 times this year from May 31 to September 21.

Both will be boarded by Korean and Japanese passengers only.

Nearly 100 people attended the send-off event that day, including Gangwon Governor Choi Moon-soon and Sokcho Mayor Lee Byung-seon.
