On July 17, the Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center announced it will host the 2018 Gangwon Startup Conference from July 18 to 19 at center's C-Square.

The Gangwon Start-up Conference is held every year and anyone interested in starting their own company can take part.

This event will feature a "Demo Day" for startups in the digital healthcare sector to share their H1 performance results. Also, finalists from April's pitching day will take part in the final pitching day.

The conference will also feature a special lecture on the popular pets industry as well as a startup talkshow. The special lecturer will be Issac Lee, a mediated therapist for pets and the talk show will have 5 startup teams from the innovation center talk about the pet industry in general.

The final pitching day will have spectators judge the startups and select a winner. Those interested can sign up online until July 18.
