(GANGNEUNG=Yonhap News) Gangneung has signed an MOU on strengthening friendship and cooperation with a sister city of China.

Kim Han-geun, Mayor of Gangneung exchanged the MOU on expanding exchange projects with Cui Yonghui, Mayor of Jingzhou on November 8.

Mayor Kim said, "We agreed to identify and implement strengthened exchange programs taking this opportunity."

Jingzhou is a city with 6.47 million citizens and signed a sisterhood relationship agreement with Gangneung in 2004.

Gangneung has signed an MOU on strengthening friendship and cooperation with Deyang on November 5.
