(CHUNCHEON=Yonhap News) The land of South Chuncheon industrial complex will offered for sale in lots.
South Chuncheon industrial complex is to develop the areas of 1.45 million ㎥ around Gwangpan-ri, Namsan-myon and Gunja-ri, Dongsan-myeon.
It was initially began in 2012, but has stood still due to changes of a project plan, etc. But the project has gained momentum since being selected as a complex specialized in the bio industry.
The application for occupation of the complex 1 shall be submitted by January 29.
The complex 1 will commence in April and be completed by July 2021.
The total area will amount to approximately 184,000 ㎡, composed of 11 lots (180,000 ㎡) for industrial facilities and 3 lots (4,700㎡) for support facilities.
The price will be KRW 224,000 per ㎡ for the land of industrial facilities, and KRW 325,000 per ㎡ for the land of support facilities. The total sales prices will add up to about KRW 4.19 billion.
The industries eligible for occupation include the Manufacture of pharmaceuticals, and medical chemicals and botanical products,
Research and Development, Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, and Manufacture of food products. .
Chuncheon city will give preference to companies signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Bio Complex.
Chuncheon city expects that if the creation of South-Chuncheon industrial complex takes off, it will promote development around Namsan-myeon and Dongsan-myon, achieving a balanced development.
