(WONJU=Yonhap News) Wonju Medical Industry Techno valley is pushing for expansion of overseas markets, by setting up Wonju Joint Booth at China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) Shanghai 2019 on May 14-17.

CMEF Shanghai is Asia's largest exposition, attended by 4,100 exhibitors from 28 countries around the world, visited by 150,000 people last year.

Wonju Medical Industry Techno valley has supported regional companies to enter Chinese market by operating a joint booth since 2016.

To help regional medical equipment companies generate tangible results from the exposition, Wonju Medical Industry Techno valley provide marketing-related services including setting up of booth, discovering and consulting with buyers, interpretation and PR.

To provide small firms with experience in exhibition marketing, it also run a venture booth.

Wonju Medical Industry Techno valley plans to keep operating a joint booth to enhance the reputation of Wonju's medical equipment industry and boost expansion of overseas markets.

It plans to take the charge in developing the medical equipment industry and increase the revenues of companies by participating as a joint booth at MEDICA 2019 in Germany, Cosmoprof Asia 2019 in Hong Kong, and opening Gangwon Medical Equipment Show (GMES) 2019.
