According to Yonhap News,

(PYEONGCHANG=Yonhap News) Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon province participated in Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) in Beijing, China on June 18-20.

BITE is a large-scale tourism promotion event, in which 2,100 tourism agencies from 87 countries and cities participating, with about 150,000 Beijing citizens are expected to visit.

Pyeongchang-gun, as a host city of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, promoted the Olympic legacies and tourism resources at its booth targeting Chinese tourists ahead of the Beijing 2020 Olympic Winter Games.

It also carried out promotional and marketing activities jointly with 15 cities and counties of the province.
