On August 14, Taebaek-si, Gangwon-do announced that it will run "Taebaek-s- urban regeneration advisory group".

Taebaek city plans to make up the advisory group of 10-20 experts in architecture, agriculture, forestry, culture, marketing, and wellare to seek for advice in carrying out policies related with urban regeneration.

The city will compose the advisory group with recommendation from Taebaek-si Urban Regeneration Support Center by August 30, followed by appointment ceremony and regular meeting in September.

The terms of office will be two-years with reappointment allowed.

The advisory will give advice on major policies about urban regeneration through biannual regular meeting and other ad-hoc meetings called when the mayor and group leader reckon the necessity.
