A mini expo within the 7th GTI EXPO planned

(CHUNCHEON=Yonhap News) The 7th Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) International Trade & Investment EXPO in 2019 is just 40 days to go, which will be the largest ever, organized by Gangwon Province. And interestingly, a mini expo within GTI Expo is prepared.

On September 2, Gangwon-do announced that its plan for the mini expo in which domestic and international visitors can enjoy special shopping experience.

The mini expo will be made up of five sections, including medical device exhibition, village expo, Wonju-si hall, Wonju night market, and multi-culture experience booth.

At the medical device exhibition, specialty medical devices will be displayed and sold for two days on September 17-18.

"2019 Village Expo", to be held for the first time this year, will lay the foundation for village companies, social enterprises, and cooperatives in the province advance into bigger market.

Wonju-si hall will be made of the city's distinctive features by 6 local companies utilizing 20 booths.

The night market will provide various things to eat, see, and enjoy at 100 booths.

The multi-culture experience booth is a place to understand and share various cultures of countries including China, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines through traditional play, cultural performance, and traditional clothing, among others.

The 7th GTI International Trade and Investment Expo will be held in the Taitu performance hall in Wonju city from October 17 to October 20, with the subject of "New Era of Northeast Asia - Cooperation, Development, Win-win!".
