According to Yonhap News,
Yanggu County, Gangwon Province is embarking on a cash grants project to help local SMEs financially hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak.

Roughly 50 percent of the cost (as much as KRW 50 million in the form of financial compensation) to make up for the loss of infrastructure struck, and another 50 percent (up to KRW 20 million to subsidize HACCP system in agro-town) will be covered this time.

The same goes to packaging industry (50 percent, up to KRW 5 million) and home shopping business (50 percent, up to KRW 10 million).

Manufacturers who’ve been running business in Yanggu County for over a year can sign up for the program until Mar. 20. Candidates will be selected by the provincial authorities going through a series of screening process.
